Safer Internet day in Nursery

In Nursery, we have been looking at the different devices in which we can access the internet. Lots of the children were talking about playing on their iPad at home.

We read a story all about Smartie the Penguin who has trouble with his new online tablet. All the children had to think of what Smartie could do to solve the problem. We decided that he needed to ask a grown up for help.

Take a look at our pictures from Nursery's internet safety session.

Safer Internet day in 5C

In Year 5C, we created a Twitter Page in the classroom. We initially posted tweets (on post-it notes), and talked about how we wouldn't want everything we tweeted to be shared online.

We talked about sharing photos online, and our personal details. We then wrote our own #staysafe tweets about staying safe online, we even added our own emoji and hashtags to try and make our message clear to the younger generation!
