Some of the Year 3 children helped to organise a charity day in school. They spoke to Ms. Adams about the benefits of holding this event and it was agreed that we would take part in the Key 103 Cash for Kids Superhero Day. All the money raised went to children who are underprivileged.
"Holy Smokes, it's Team Reception!!!"
The children got the chance to donate £1 to dress up like their
favourite superhero. Own clothes could be worn too if their costume was 'in the wash’! Teachers taught the children about the benefits of the charity and some took part in their own activities to raise awareness and money on the day.
