Year 2C Home Learning

Even though you are missing some school, you can still learn and be the best person you can be! We are saying goodbye for a little while but please keep drawing, writing, dancing, reading, singing, problem solving and learning about all the incredible things around you! Most of all, keep making people smile! 

We are going to miss each and every one of you so please keep us updated with what you are doing at home!

I have been very busy creating my own board game for you:

FLAMES AND LADDERS! 

This board game will help you to revisit our learning about 'The Great Fire of London'. 

How to play:

  • You will need someone to play with and some counters. You will also need a dice. If you don't have one, here is an interactive dice: https://www.online-stopwatch.com/chance-games/roll-a-dice/
  • If you land on a flame, you need to go back 2 spaces. 
  • If you land on a ladder, you can go up the ladder. 

Challenge: Create your own game! 

You might want to base it on something we have learnt about in school like Florence Nightingale or Captain Scott! 

You could use the template below, draw your own version on paper or make it out of a cereal box!
